Discover Ways to Get Involved

Food Preparation & Distribution

Join our feeding team and directly serve children and families. Help prepare nutritious meals, package food supplies, and distribute them to the Jakande community. Whether you have culinary skills or a willing heart, your hands-on support ensures no child goes hungry.

Education & Mentorship

Volunteer as a tutor or mentor for children and youth in our programs. Share your knowledge in academics, professional skills, or life guidance. Help young minds unlock their potential and believe in a brighter future.

Women's Empowerment Programs

Support our skills acquisition initiatives by volunteering as a trainer or facilitator. Teach vocational skills, financial literacy, or business fundamentals to women in our community. Empower them to become self-reliant and economic contributors to their families.

Connect, Serve and Empower

Volunteer Requirements

To ensure the safety, quality of our programs, and positive impact in our community, we ask all volunteers to meet these basic requirements:

Commitment & Reliability

Volunteers must be willing to commit to a consistent schedule (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly) and honor their commitments. Reliability is essential as children and families depend on our programs. We ask for at least a 2-3 month volunteer period to make a meaningful impact.

Passion for Our Mission

A genuine desire to help and belief in our cause is crucial. Volunteers should be compassionate, respectful, and patient when working with children, families, and women from vulnerable backgrounds. We seek those who view this work as more than a task—as a calling to serve with dignity and care.

Basic Health & Safety Clearance

For programs involving direct contact with children, volunteers must be in good physical and mental health, free from communicable diseases, and willing to follow basic hygiene and safety protocols. Volunteers working with food preparation must comply with food safety guidelines.
